Mike brings to DMS clients more than three decades of hands-on experience in the direct-mail industry. As the team leader for a number of high-profile DMS non-profit clients, Mike helps his clients with short and long-term strategic planning with a focus on setting goals and creating ways to monitor and analyze results. Mike has a vast background in the fundraising arena, including special event planning, major donor programs, telemarketing, and integration of Internet fundraising tools. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee and studied in Oxford, England under an international studies scholarship. Mike also holds an MBA and is a nationally recognized speaker and instructor for non-profit and political fundraising schools. Mike builds and races cars competitively.

Rick leads the daily operations of Direct Mail Systems (DMS). He joined the company in 1985 after 5 years as a Mailing Equipment Service Technician for Val-Pak. Rick initially served in that same capacity for DMS and was later promoted to Director of Production Operations. He has been General Manager since 2006. His blend of account-management experience and knowledge of operations makes him a unique and valuable asset to the firm and its clients. Rick also serves his community as a Board Member for the YMCA of the Suncoast and is a U.S. Navy veteran.

An advertising and marketing specialist with a talent for business and personal development Philip brings with him more than a decade of experience in various aspects of business growth and development including sales, marketing and management. Philip offers a unique perspective impressed through original ideas and creative insight that provides absolute value to our clients, as well as a natural understanding of their needs and commitment to reaching their desired outcomes. Philip is responsible for the oversight and direction of all sales and marketing initiatives in our Commercial Business Services Division and for driving growth through the adoption of enhanced services and the formation of strategic alliances. As an Iraq War Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Philip offers DMS a strong sense of duty that is reflected through his dedication, loyalty and selfless leadership style. Prior to joining the DMS team, Philip worked as a sales consultant in the healthcare communication industry with TeleHealth Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Empire State College in New York. Philip also serves his community as marketing director for the Bay Area Young Professionals.
Senior Graphic Designer

Serge has been a cutting-edge graphic designer for 17 years. He has a thorough knowledge of both offset and digital printing, variable data as well as prepress experience. Before DMS was fortunate enough to attract Serge to our team, he was the Art, Digital Production & Pre-press Director at USA Sprint Print, Inc. His focus there was on the design of marketing and advertising materials for the hospitality/restaurant industry. Serge received an Associate of Science degree in graphic design from Remington College.

David has more than 20 years of experience in advertising and marketing, specializing in creative writing and customer service. His genuine sincerity and customer-first attitude ensure the needs of customers are met and their projects are delivered on time and within budget. Prior to joining the DMS team, David worked as an Account Manager for an advertising agency in Mississippi. He comes from a family with a long and successful history in the advertising industry. David received his degree in Advertising and Marketing from Youngstown University. David is a race car enthusiast and former Midget Car racer. He enjoys restoring old cars and playing golf.

Prior to joining DMS, Pete was the Vice President for Political Affairs at the National Association of Home Builders. There he advised and briefed association leaders on national politics and managed the political activities of the association. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years on Capitol Hill as a senior staffer to House Leadership and Members of Congress. Pete’s interests include sailing, hiking, camping, and networking. A graduate of Georgia State University, he is active on the leadership team of Nexus, a local Business Networking Int’l (BNI) chapter.
